  • UB40 celebrated Samoa's 50th birthday
    June 2,UB40's exciting concert to over 22,000 fans celebrating Samoa's 50th Independance celebration at Apia Park was long overdue. Those attending were very satisfied with the REAL UB40. Vocalist Astro even took time out to get a traditional tatoo and relax in the very warm tropics reading NZPacific. The band members want to return to the Pacific which they last visited in 2006 with a quick visit to NZ in 2008.

  • Negotiations are underway with the Ministry of Pacific island affairs and MaoriTV for a long awaited Pacific islands TV channel. PiTV on demand will still continue on KiwiTV but attempts are being made to set up finally a PiTV local channel
