UB40 delaysNZ/Tonga tour.Samoa ON
March 18,Due to logistics and the 100 day mourning period for Tonga's King George Tupou V funeral, a proposed tour by UB40 to NZ and Tonga has been postponed.
However UB40 will be performing for the 1st time in Samoa for the island nation's 50th Anniversary of Independance from NZ.
This will be UB's first visit to Samoa after an initial attempt in 2006 failed but the band visited Tonga for the first time

Raggamuffin 5th Anniversary 2012
19 Jan 2012.According to Raggamuffin’s publicist Sandra Roberts thousands of Maori and Pacific Island fans asked the promoter to include most of the acts that are on next January 27th & 28th stages at Rotoura International stadium and Andrew McManus has replied by having them. “Over 3000 people also petitioned the promoter to have CHAD CHAMBERS included in the lineup. He will open the main stage on the Saturday” said Roberts.

IRB = International Racist Board
19 October. Manu Samoa rugby player Etiola Fuimaono-Sapolu's twitter comments about the injustices of the IRB are vindicated at his hearing last Saturday when 3 of the 4 charges were dropped. It takes guts to speak out against this global board and now others are in support. Today's IRB's election has been postponed for a few months. Right on Etiola.

PANTHER PARTY...september 12th
Highlight of the party was first time ta'olunga (Tongan dance) by 6 year old Tiara 'Ilolahia, the granddaughter of PPP members Elaine and Will and visitng DJ from Australia DJ Demian.
Over $1500 was raised for the proposed trip to the Internatioanl Panther conference to be held in Tanzania,Africa 18-20th September 2009
